Thanasis Tsaltabasis (Thessaloniki, December 15, 1981) is a Greek theater, television and film actor. He was born in Thessaloniki where he grew up, while he comes from Aidonohori Serres. From a young age he took part in theater groups in his neighborhood. In 1996, he played in "Melodia tis Eftychia" with Aliki Vougiouklakis in Thessaloniki. In 1999, he transferred to the University of Western Macedonia, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. There he played in various amateur performances as well as professionally with the Kozanis DI.PE.THE. At the same time, he did humorous shows on a local TV station, where he was in overall charge of the TV show (texts, presentation, direction, editing). In 2005 he came to Athens. He studied at the drama school of Giorgos Theodosiadis. Since 2006, he has been working professionally as an actor. He has done many television and radio commercials for a well-known mobile phone company, while he has acted in the series "Loofah and Variation" (NET), "Seven Deadly Mother-in-Laws" (Mega), "The Apartment Building" (Mega), "Happy Together" (Mega ), "Lakis the Sweet" (Mega), "Back to Home" (Mega), "Daddy Cool" (Ant1). In the cinema, he has starred in the films "Loofa and dispensation, I4" by V. Katsikis, "Ilias of the 16th" by N. Zapatina with Petros Filippidis and "Larissa confidential" by St. Markidis. He has lent his voice to films and animated television series, such as "Up", "SpongeBob SquarePants", "Whatever You Have, Despicable Me" and "Storks".
