Pires was born on 23 August 1963 in Rio de Janeiro. She is the daughter of producer Elza Pires and actor Antônio Carlos Pires. She has a sister named Linda Pires, a therapist. She is of Native Brazilian and Portuguese descent. Glória Pires was born on August 23, 1963 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as Glória Maria Cláudia Pires. She is known for her work on Insensato Coração (2011), Se Eu Fosse Você 2 (2009) and É Proibido Fumar (2009). She has been married to Orlando Morais since 1987. They have three children. She was previously married to Fábio Jr.. In 2013, she was honoured by Forbes Brazil as one of Brazil's most influential persons, being ranked in the 28th position out of the 30 short-listed.
