João Aleu Da Silva, born in Barcelona, 2007, grew up in a family rich with artistic talents. João's upbringing was deeply influenced by the creative pursuits of his father, a photographer, and the broader artistic legacy of his relatives. João’s passion for audiovisual storytelling took shape during his education, thanks to the mentorship of his audiovisuals teacher, Javier Jiménez. Under Javier’s guidance, João honed his skills and developed a cinematic vision that would culminate in two compelling short films. The first, titled Coincée, delved into the psychological unraveling of a man trapped in a garage, offering a gripping exploration of isolation and mental turmoil. His second short, , was a striking adaptation of the iconic restaurant scene from The Godfather, a reinterpretation of classic cinema with a unique perspective.
