Biography

Graham Hart, a dedicated figure at CHEX-TV, initially committed to a year but devoted an impressive 45 years to the station. His tenure, spanning nearly half a century, marked a remarkable career that began while he was a student at Dalhousie University. Starting as a news anchor, Graham eventually became the station's emblematic face in Peterborough, assuming roles such as News Director and executive vice president. He volunteered for the March of Dimes and the Easter Seals for nearly as long as he worked at CHEX. His exceptional service earned him recognition from several esteemed organizations, including Rotary International and Lions Club International Foundation. Notably, he received the Gordon Holnbeck Community Service Award and the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the City of Peterborough in 2014. After 57 years in broadcasting, Graham retired in 2018, leaving an enduring legacy at CHEX-TV.
