Biography

Since childhood, Lucas has been creating stories, developing his first audiovisual projects while at school, where he received encouragement and secured his debut at a prestigious international festival held in the south of Brazil. The filmmaker yearns for a future in which new filmmakers from all backgrounds can express themselves freely and achieve recognition without restrictions, including those linked to age. Now, at the age of 20, Lucas aims to spread the idea that independent film productions, created or made in the local community, bring authenticity to the audience and a primary care for artistic purposes. His trajectory has already accumulated 12 nominations at global festivals, including his victory in the 'Best Actress' category at FECEA 2022 with the short film 'Out of Focus', as well as his subsequent participation as a finalist with a sequel to the work.
