Mykyta Kravčenko is a Ukrainian filmmaker, photographer, and artist. He was born in Donetsk, Ukraine in 2004. In the summer of 2014, when he was ten, due to the military invasion of Russian occupation forces in Donetsk, he and his family were forced to move to Kyiv, where he entered a secondary school. In 2018, he spent a year of acting courses at the Kyiv theater studio «11», where he encountered a professional approach to acting for the first time. In 2019, he entered the College of the Kyiv Film and New Media Academy, majoring in Audiovisual Arts and Production. There, he created some student works, including the short film project "No Nest", which was canceled due to a lack of professional help. On February 24, 2022, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he had to flee to the west with his family again. In March 2022 he went to Prague, Czech Republic. There, he worked as a photographer in such institutions as Goethe Institut Prague, the National Pedagogical Institute of the Czech Republic, and others. He also did professional videography on different events and even got some experience in VFX, working at Dazzle Pictures post-production studio. After the US government created an immigration program for Ukrainian refugees in April 2022, Mykyta took the opportunity and moved to the suburbs of Washington DC, where he worked as a freelance filmmaker and did an internship at DC-Camera rental house. During his time in Washington DC area, he gained a lot of experience and confidence working with professional film equipment used in cinema production. In February 2023, he moved to Florida to study in the Film program at Full Sail University.
