Biography

Gus was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on June 27, 1995. He grew up an athlete, competing in baseball, basketball, football, and karate. Gus got his first taste of the stage when he was 10 years old, but did not get his first paid job until booking a role as Ellard Sims in a production of "The Foreigner" at Blue Moon Dinner Theater in Johnson City. Gus went on to college at the University of Tennessee where he studied psychology and history, but continued to book commercials and extra roles while in school. Prior to Gus's junior year, he attended a Meisner method intensive at New York Studio 3 in Asheville, North Carolina, which inspired his desire to become an actor full-time. Upon completing his degree in 2018, Gus moved to Los Angeles where he has been working on the stage and in front of the camera for the last two years.
