I grew up in Bucks County, PA in the middle of 8 children, sired and mentored by Edward & Gertrude O’Brien. A graduate of William Tennent HS, I attended The King’s College for 2 years and graduated cum laude from Taylor University. I was awarded a graduate assistantship in education at The University of Cincinnati, graduating magna cum laude. Having no luck finding a teaching job, I honed my people skills in insurance sales before migrating into the investment field. I founded Queen City Retirement Advisors in 1993 and built a dynamic financial planning firm which I recently sold. A respected member of the community, we’ve lived in West Chester, OH, where I’ve served in all facets of community and professional and organizations, from volunteer to officer/leader. My lovely wife of 44 years, Jackie, blessed me with 3 sons, all married and fulfilled. They, in turn, have given us 4 amazing grandkids who all love their “Pop” the best. Now that I’m out of the office and life has slowed a bit, I’m looking for a new challenge, one that will allow me to utilize my energetic, witty personality and learn a new craft that is both challenging and rewarding.
