Born in Heliopolis in 1960 to an Egyptian father and Armenian mother. She graduated from AUC Business Management and Administration. She worked as a secretary and an advertisement singer in Tarek Nour's company. She began her singing career when she won first place in a worldwide competition in France. Since then, she's been competing in many worldwide competitions in France, Turkey, Latin America, Bulgaria, Czech republic and Finland. She's been honored by the Ministry of Tourism, who sponsors the Music Festival in Egypt. She sang in the World Cup ceremonies in 1997, and the World Cup handball closing ceremony in 2000. She also tried her hand in acting, but mostly is a singer.
