Synopsis

Shih captures the return of Paola Shih to Taiwan to meet with her father after twenty years of separation. Following Paola in her remaking of the relationship and re-adaptation to the taiwanese culture, the film explores the nature of family ties, and its singularities in our modern and globalized world.
